So i’ve been looking around the wow-europe forums to just while away the hours when i came across something that i dont know if its new or not. But i thought i would post my bit. It hasnt got a release date as of yet so people are still speculating on what is happening and if its due.

Personally i think it will be around blizzcon which this year is October 10-11. I have a feeling this will be announced on the first day but i could be wrong. What a good time to do it though? Mind you spore is out around the same time (september i think) so maybe they wont want to have it so close to that date.

Anyway back to the post at hand, apparently if you go to http://www.wow-europe.com/ then you come face to face with a massive ice wall with cracks on it.

Now that is pretty impressive. Especially when you consider that this image has recently updated. Initially it was:

You should notice the brightness is different you can see less runes in the orignal image.

Now i know i said that initiailly i think this will be announced in october i very much doubt that is the case now, i think this is some clever viral thing that blizzard are doing to get us more excited. They did the same when they announced Starcraft 2. When the ice ‘melted’ all that could be seen was a starcraft 2 logo.

Lets hope this is good news. Just think level 80, a hero class. Lich king is going to be amazing!
