I’ve recently bought myself an all singing all dancing 24″ dell super monitor. For those of you who want to know what it is: Dell 2048WS. It only took 5 days to deliver and it arrived this morning. It has HDMI in, USB in/out, SD Card Slots and a native resolution of 1920×1200 !!

With this beast i wanted to have a fantastic world of warcraft wallpaper ideally one that was creaed by a fansite/fanboy. So i made it my mission to try and find the best 10 so that i could choose between them and make that my new desktop background.

Here are the 5 that i thought were the best and where possible i’ve added some comments as to why i like it and why i think you guys should also install it

5: Arthas World of Warcraft Wallpaper

Arthas Menethil ( the namesake of Menethil Harbour ) trained as a Paladin under Uther the Lightbringer

4: Black Temple wallpaper

The black temple is a level 70 raid instance in Outland. The entrance to Black Temple is an instance portal set in a breach in the southern battlement, below the Ruins of Karabor.

3: Fury of the Sunwell

I’m afraid i havent been able to find much out about this wallpaper. I just think it’s amazing!

2: World of warcraft wallpaper Christmas Edition

When i came across this i couldnt stop laughing. I started out looking for serious wallpapers thinking you guys would want to see some images you would want yourself, but one look at this christmas wallpaper made me realise that there are so many more things world of warcraft that meets the eye. So who ever made this one ( Jamwis? ) i salute you

1: Red Mix Wallpaper

I cant find the words to describe why i picked this one as my new wallpaper Needless to say this is my new wallpaper for my great new monitor.
