Blizzard has just released the new image for the viral it’s running on a new annoucement. There is rife speculation that this is annoucement is going to be either the launch date of “Diablo 3″ or “Starcraft 2″.

So a new day a new image from the guys at blizzard. No doubt tomorrow will be the final image and there will be a huge sigh of relief because we will finally know what the situation is. Will anyone have worked out what this all actually means? Its difficult to say, there are rumours and counter rumours and silly musing going on all over the world of warcraft community.

So we;ve all been very busy these ppast couple of days trying to find out what all these splash screens mean when all of a sudden a new one appears. This one is by far the best and already has what looks like a face in the middle of the screen.
I’ve made some edits to the image to indicate where the runes are and where the face is, my photoshop is shocking so you cant see that much. In the middle there are a pair of evil looking eyes, some people think this is the main evil guy from diablo 2. I think it looks prettuy similar, meaning this could be all about diablo 3. I hope so. Can’t wait.
I’ve also indicated where the runes are, there are now 4. 1 of which is MIA. 1 is diablo, one is warcraft another is starcraft and the other isnt known.
In keeping with the current theme, that means there are 2 more runes to come. I wonder what they will hold.
SO without furthur ado here is the original ice screen (ice4) and below that the one with my square boxes indicating where the runes and face are.

So i’ve been looking around for more information on the ice screens that have appeared on the wow-europe home pages. I’ve read there are potentially new games being created no one knows about, this could be diablo 3, that there is even infact a picture of ALF in there somewehre. Although i’ve not really been able to see it.

So this is potentially serious news, well if you listen to me and all the guys on the wow-europe forums anyway. Well remember that post i put up yesterday? About how the ice splash screens might infact be something to do with the wrath of the lich king release dates? Well it now turns out this might be something to do with a long awaited (internet rumour) of Diablo 3.

The world of warcraft blog came about because i didnt know where i could find information that was easy to understand and easy to read. I'd also always wanted to write a blog about something that i knew about and enjoyed doing. So naturally it was world of warcraft a game i'd played for many a year. I've spent many weekends not doing anything apart from instances and grinding. It's fantastic fun. So with that i hope you enjoy the world of warcraft blog and maybe i'll see you in ghostlands?
